1dataplan aims to deliver affordable data access when travelling thereby eliminating unpredictable data roaming tariffs. 1dataplan has a fixed priced product that enables you to use data when travelling in covered countries. Surf freely (up to the montly fair usage limit) for one fee of 40 EUR/month (excl. VAT).
You will receive a new SIM card from us that you should use with your hardware (tablet, laptop, dongle, MiFi, etc.). Nothing else is needed. It’s easy and simple.

We currently cover over 100 countries so if you live in one of these countries, it is not necessary to keep your national mobile broadband subscription.
1dataplan cover over 100 countries which is identified as "the 1dataplan network". These countries currently include:

We currently support 4G services in U.K. and Poland. Additional 4G enabled countries will be added regularly.
We’re currently negotiating with multiple operators but Russia and India are high on our list. You’re very welcome to contact us with your requests.
All countries that we have data services in are already included in our product, so you can not use it outside our network. We continuously add new countries to our product.
You will have access to 1GB of data.
You pay a fee of only 1,2 DKK/MB (excl. VAT) for data consumption that exceeds 1GB but only for the next 50MB. Hereafter we suspend the product for the rest of the month. At the beginning of the next month, the product will be open again with a new 1GB data allowance. The most you will be able to pay for a month is therefore 299DKK+60DKK = 359 DKK (48€). Please contact support if you run our of data and need more within the same month. We will figure out a solution for you.
No, you will be able to use your tablet, laptop, dongle, MiFi, etc. exactly as normally. No changes are necessary.
We supply you with a one-size-fits-all sim card that can be used with all available devices.
You can use your old smartphone as a hotspot. You can also use your tablet as a hotspot if it has a SIM card slot. Remember that you only need one device to share the Internet connection between all the travellers (and multiple devices).

Yes, you will be notified when you reach 80% of your data usage (and when you reach 100%)
Payment & subscription
Head in on www.1dataplan.com and buy the product directly from our web page. You will receive the SIM card shortly hereafter. Remember to discontinue your national mobile broadband subscription yourself if you plan on exchanging it with 1dataplan.
No, 1dataplan is currently focusing on data devices only (latops, tablets, dongles, mifi, routers, etc.). It is not possible to call or SMS using our product. But we are currently working on enabling voice and SMS in a next phase. If you want affordable data access through your smartphone then see the Mifi section.
You pay using a normal invoice. We will send you a PDF invoice each month and you transfer the money using a normal bank transfer.
Yes. It's also possible to pay using Mobile Pay which is a mobile payment system in Denmark and some other Scandinavian countries. Contact our support department if you need this.
The monthly subscription fee is deducted at the beginning of each month. This is to make the invoice as easy and simple to read as possible. If you buy the product in the middle of the month, then we won't charge you for the full month, but only half. Furthermore we deduct the time it takes to ship the product to you so you only pay for the time you actually can use the product.
You should contact 1dataplan customer service to cancel your subscription.

1. Open the browser with your iPhone (requires a Wi-Fi internet connection)
2. Go to m.apnchanger.org .
If your Cellular Provider is not listed, choose "Automatically" and set your APN Settings there:

3.Click "Install".
(That’s it! You will now be able to surf the internet abroad)
Note: some iPhone models require a restart before the changes take effect.

The 1dataplan SIM card will work with all common tablets, laptops (with embedded SIM card slots), dongles (e.g. USB dongles), MiFi, etc. Just make sure your hardware device is unlocked. Contact the shop where you bought your hardware if you’re in doubt.
Yes. But we suggest that you keep your existing sim card in your phone and then connect your phone via WiFi to a Mifi you carry on you, containing 1dataplan’s sim card. Smartphone users can take advantage of a MiFi that connects using the 1dataplan networks and connects easily with the smartphone using WiFi. More info on the Mifi is found here .
An alternative solution is to create a hotspot using an unused smartphone or your tablet. This way you can share the 1dataplan connection and still keep you phone number active.
Yes, it’s compatible with the iPad. Just remember to order the correct SIM card type (standard sim, micro sim or nanosim) when ordering the product.
All sim card types are supported (mini, micro and nano). Also known as 2FF/3FF/4FF.
The speeds will differ from country to country depending on the technology available and the terms of our agreement with the operators. Also your device can have limitations in which speeds you will access the internet with. We constantly improve the coverage, quality and speed of the connected operators to give the best possible experience for you.
